Total Employment for the 3^rd quarter of 2019 is estimated at 446.891 persons, of which 398.063 are employees and 48.828 are self-employed. 

Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2018, total employment for the 3^rd quarter of 2019 increased by 3,0%. The highest percentage increase was observed in the economic activities of Arts, Entertainment and Recreation (NACE R), Construction (ΝΑCE F), Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities (NACE M) and Information and Communication (NACE J). Decrease, compared to the 3^rd quarter of 2018, was observed in the Financial and Insurance Activities (NACE K).

Actual hours worked for the 3^rd quarter of 2019 are estimated at 194.134 thousands; an increase of 2,9%, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2018.
