Total Employment for the 4^th quarter of 2019 is estimated at 441719 persons, of which 391156 are employees and 50563 are self-employed.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2018, total employment for the 4^th quarter of 2019 increased by 3,0%. The highest percentage increase was observed in the economic activities of Construction (ΝΑCE F), Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities (NACE M), Information and Communication (NACE J) and Other Service Activities (NACE S). Decrease, compared to the 4^th quarter of 2018, was observed in the Financial and Insurance Activities (NACE K).

Actual hours worked for the 4^th quarter of 2019 are estimated at 200635 thousand an increase of 2,6%, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2018.
