The President of the Republic sent a message of condolence to the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba
The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, sent a message of condolence to the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Mr Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
In his message the President stated the following:
“It is with deep sorrow that I have been informed of the loss of so many lives in the terrible plane crash near Havana.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Cyprus, I would like to extend my profound sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and sincere wishes for the speedy recovery of the passengers who were injured.”
