As part of the efforts to strengthen the immunity of groups of the population that are more vulnerable to severe disease, the Ministry of Health reminds that as of Monday, 11 April 2022, the booster/4th dose of the vaccine will be administered through the walk-in vaccination centres operating in all districts:

• to persons over 70 years of age,
• to persons who live or work in senior people’s homes and closed structures,
• immunodeficient and immunosuppressed patients,

provided that the period of five (5) months after receiving the 3rd dose has elapsed.

For the administration of the booster/4th dose of the vaccine to persons over 70 years of age, an identification document (identity card, passport) and the vaccination card must be provided.

Immunodeficient and immunosuppressed patients will be contacted by the Ministry of Health for the arrangement of an appointment for vaccination, or they can visit the walk-in vaccination centres by presenting a medical certificate from a Specialist Doctor.

The administration of the booster/4th dose of a vaccine is optional.

Operating hours of vaccination centres (walk-in):

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8 am – 3 pm
• Wednesday: 8 am – 6 pm
• Saturday: 8 am – 1 pm

• Lefkosia: State Fair
• Larnaka: Old Hospital of Larnaka
• Lemesos: Linopetra (only upon appointment), Spyros Kyprianou Sports Centre
• Pafos: Pafos General Hospital
• Kyperounta: Vaccination Centre (former Cooperative Bank)

In particular:

• Every Monday the Moderna vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres

• Every Tuesday the Pfizer vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
• Every Saturday the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres.

• Every Wednesday the Pfizer vaccine will be available from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and the Moderna vaccine as well as the Pfizer vaccine will be available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the walk-in vaccination centres.
• Every Thursday the Pfizer vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres.
• Every Friday the J&J and Moderna vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
