Issuance of the first Sustainable Bond with a ten-year maturity

The Public Debt Management Office, Ministry of Finance announces that on April 4th, 2023, the Republic of Cyprus issued its first Sustainable Bond with a ten-year maturity. The issue was very successful with the largest book of offerings in the history of the Republic (in excess of €12 billion). The bond has an annual yield of 4.219% and an annual nominal interest rate of 4.125%.
