Job vacancies: 2nd quarter 2018

Annual change 90,1%The number of job vacancies for the 2nd quarter of 2018 was 5.148. The number of job vacancies increased by 2.440 (90,1%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year when it was 2.708. The employment in the broad public sector for the 2nd quarter 2018 was 67.670 persons. Government Labour Force by category: August 2018

In August 2018 the Government labour force increased by 1.050 persons (2,1%) compared to 2017. The casual staff increased by 11,7% and reached 16.036 persons compared to 14.351 persons in August 2017. Permanent staff decreased by 635 persons (-1,8%). Compared to August 2017 there is an increase in all the categories of Government labour force except the Hourly Paid Workers.
