Convention between Cyprus and Kazakhstan for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion on Income Taxes
On May 30th 2018, the successful final round of negotiation within the conclusion of the negotiation of the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion on Income Taxes between the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place. Annual Survey on Education, 2015/2016
Based on the results of the Annual Survey on Education for the school year 2015/2016, the total number of pupils and students at all educational levels was 181.537 recording a minor increase (1,9%) compared, to the school year 2014/2015 where the total number of pupils and students was 178.116. Tourist arrivals +7,6% On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 450.495 in May 2018 compared to 418.732 in May 2017, recording an increase of 7,6%. Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP): May 2018
The Harmonized Price Index for May 2018 increased by 1,0% when compared to May 2017, while compared to April of 2018 increased by 1,4%. For the period January-May 2018 the HICP recorded a decrease of 0,3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Annual Change 10,7%The number of job vacancies for the 1st quarter of 2018 was 3.761. The number of job vacancies increased by 363 (10,7%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year when it was 3.398.
