Statistical Service: Registered Unemployed - January 2018

The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of January 2018, reached 35.989 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for January 2018 decreased to 29.812 persons in comparison to 30.591 in the previous month. Presidential Elections 2018 – Repeat election: Statement by the Chief Returning Officer, Mr Kypros Kyprianou, on the results of the elections for the President of the Republic

Voting ended according to schedule.Sorting and counting of ballots run as planned and at 7:23 p.m. we had the results of the last poll.I have now the final official election results which are as follows:The turnout of voters is 407.475 which is equal to 73.97%.In comparison, the voter turnout in the first round was 71.88% of the total registered voters.
