Government employment by category: October 2019
In October 2019 total government employment increased by 595 persons (1,1%) in comparison to the corresponding month of 2018 and reached 52.476 persons. Permanent staff decreased by 575 persons (-2,0%), from 28.487 to 27.912 persons. Provisional estimates for the Industrial Sector, 2018
On the basis of provisional estimates of the Statistical Service, employment in the broad industrial sector in 2018 increased by 3,8% to 37,1 thousand compared to 35,7 thousand in 2017.
