Consumer Price index (CPI): October 2019 Inflation -1,0%
In October 2019, the Consumer Price Index increased by 0,40 units and reached 101,29 units compared to 100,89 units in September 2019. Compared to October 2018, the CPI decreased by 1%. Registered unemployed in October 2019
The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of October 2019, reached 16.544 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for October 2019 decreased to 21.273 persons in comparison to 21.481 in the previous month. The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that due to the celebrations of Mevlid Kandili or Mawlid, an organised visit by a large number of pilgrims will take place at the Mosque of Hala Sultan in Larnaka.
