Tourist Arrivals 3,6%On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 553.845 in August 2019 compared to 534.847 in August 2018, recording an increase of 3,6%. Total Employment 68.263Total employment in the Broad Public Sector in the 2nd quarter of 2019 reached 68.263 persons. The employment in General Government was 62.263 and in the Publicly Owned Enterprises and Companies 6.000 persons. Number of job vacancies increased by 19,3% the 2nd quarter of 2019
The number of job vacancies in the 2nd quarter of 2019 reached 6.141. The number of job vacancies increased by 993 (19,3%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the number was 5.148. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2019 the number of job vacancies decreased by 621 (-9,2%).
