Tourist Arrivals 3,6%On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 553.845 in August 2019 compared to 534.847 in August 2018, recording an increase of 3,6%. Total Employment 68.263Total employment in the Broad Public Sector in the 2nd quarter of 2019 reached 68.263 persons. Number of job vacancies increased by 19,3% the 2nd quarter of 2019

The number of job vacancies in the 2nd quarter of 2019 reached 6.141. The number of job vacancies increased by 993 (19,3%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the number was 5.148. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2019 the number of job vacancies decreased by 621 (-9,2%).
