The Ethnological Museum will be closed due to conservation works
The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from the 7th of August until the 12th of August 2019, the Ethnological Museum (House of Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios) in Lefkosia will be closed to the public due to conservation works.(MG/II)

Consumer Price Index (CPI): July 2019
Inflation -0,3%In July 2019, the Consumer Price Index decreased by 1,27 units and reached 100,02 units compared to 101,29 units in June 2019. Compared to July 2018, the CPI decreased by 0,3%. Registered unemployed: July 2019
The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of July 2019, reached 20.582 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for July 2019 decreased to 22.106 persons in comparison to 22.413 in the previous month. Mail and parcels delivery arrangements for Pervolia village

The President of the Republic received the UN SG’s Special Representative in Cyprus
The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades received today, in his residence, in Limassol, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative in Cyprus Ms Elizabeth Spehar.After the meeting, Ms Spehar when asked by reporters if everything is ready for the meeting between the President of the Republic and the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community on 9 August, she said «I think everything is fine.»(RM/AM/SCH)
