Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP): May 2019

Annual rate of change 0,2%In May 2019 the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices increased by 0,2% compared to the index of May 2018 and by 0,3% compared  to the index of April 2019. For the period January-May 2019, the HICP recorded an increase of 1,1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The Press and Information Office announces that according to the Law on Sworn Translators (Ν. 45(Ι)/2019) as of July 1st 2019 translation services shall be transferred to the Sworn Translators who shall hence perform and certify translations. The last day for the submission of documents for translation at the PIO - Translation Department is Thursday, June 27th 2019.Sworn Translators’ contact details can be found on the Sworn Translators’ Registry on the PIO’s website in due time.(NA/MG/SCH)

Government Labour Force: 52.527In May 2019 the government labour force increased by 471 persons (0,9%) in comparison to the corresponding month of 2018 and reached 52.527 persons. Permanent staff decreased by 590 persons (-1,7%).
