Registered unemployed: March 2019
The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of March 2019, reached 26.508 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for March 2019 decreased to 23.797 persons in comparison to 24.095 in the previous month. Annual Survey on Education, 2016/2017
Based on the results of the Annual Survey on Education for the school year 2016/2017, the total number of pupils and students at all educational levels was 188.311 recording an increase (3,7%) compared, to the school year 2015/2016 where the total number of pupils and students was 181.537.
