Decree by the Minister of Communications and Works on the prohibition of flights as of 3.00 am Cyprus time

The Minister of Communications and Works, Mr Yiannis Karousos, issued today, Friday, March 20, 2020, a Decree concerning the prohibition of flights as of 3.00 am Cyprus time, 21st March 2020 and for a 14-day period, except for those related to the transport of cargo, between the Republic airports’ and the airports of all Member States, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway {European Economic Area (EEA)} and Switzerland.For the full text of the Decree in English press here.(EK/MP)

Business register: 2018, annual change 4,3%

In 2018 the number of enterprises reached 101.147compared to 96.936 in 2017, recording an increase of 4,3%. 1412 call center begins operation today for information on Coronavirus disease

The Ministry of Health announces that, in addition to 1450 call center, as of today, 20 March, noon, 1412 call center begins its operation. 1412 call center will operate from 8 am to 8 pm providing general information to the public on Coronavirus.
