Harmonized Index of Consumers Prices in March 2020

In March 2020 the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) increased by 0,1% compared to the index of March 2019 while, when compared to the index of February 2020, the HICP increased by 0,2%. For the period January-March 2020 the HICP recorded an increase of 0,6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Procurement process for the supply of 9 million masks completed

A quantity of nine million masks is expected to be delivered to Cyprus, in two batches, after the completion of the competition announced by the Ministry of Health, in the context of the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. The two batches of masks will arrive in Cyprus in late April and mid-May.More details on the availability of the nine million masks will be announced in the coming days.(EH)
