Building Permits: August 2021
The Statistical Service announces that the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities and the district administration offices during August 2021 stood at 523. The total value of these permits reached €143,4 million and the total area 124,9 thousand square metres. Industrial Turnover Index: August 2021
Annual Change +18,5%In August 2021, the Industrial Turnover Index reached 131,3 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 18,5% compared to August 2020. For the period January – August 2021, the index recorded an increase of 11,8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. SafePass possession checks via the CovScan application will be optional until 22 November
Following yesterday’s decision of the Council of Ministers that checks for a SafePass would be carried out via the CovScan Cyprus application, the Ministry of Health would like to inform citizens that this measure will be implemented optionally and on a pilot basis from 8 until 22 November.
