Building Permits: April 2021 – Increase both in Area (36,0%) and in Value (34,2%)
The Statistical Service announces that the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities and the district administration offices during April 2021 stood at 627. The total value of these permits reached €230,6 million and the total area 192,9 thousand square meters. According to the results of the Survey on Industrial Production 2019, employment in the broad industrial sector increased in 2019 by 3,9% to 39,7 thousand compared to 38,2 thousand in 2018.
