Registered Unemployed: January 2022

The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of January 2022, reached 15.430 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for January 2022 increased to 13.954 persons in comparison to 13.578 in the previous month. Tourist Arrivals: December 2021

Consumer Price Index (CPI): January 2022

In January 2022, the Consumer Price Index decreased by 0,53 units and reached 104,57 units compared to 105,10 units in December 2021. In January 2022, the inflation increased by 5,4%.   (Table 1)As regards the economic origin, the largest changes when compared to the index of January 2021 were recorded in Electricity (26,3%) and Petroleum products (25,3%).
