Job vacancies: 2nd quarter 2022
The number of job vacancies in the 2nd quarter of 2022 reached 11.113. The number of job vacancies increased by 3.716 (50,2%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the number was 7.397. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2022 the number of job vacancies decreased by 1.761 (-13,7%). Total Employment: 52.470In August 2022, total government employment increased by 149 persons (0,3%) in comparison to the corresponding month of 2021 and reached 52.470 persons. Permanent staff decreased by 703 persons (-2,6%), from 26.568 to 25.865 persons. Training Activities by the Ministry of Defense within the Nicosia FIR
The Ministry of Defense announces that on 12th and 13th of September 2022, from 12:00 onwards, training activities will be carried out within the Nicosia FIR. The activities are part of the implementation of the annual military cooperation program of the Republic of Cyprus with partner countries.The activities include air defense scenarios and will involve air and ground forces of the National Guard.(EP/ECHR)
