Announcement by the Cyprus Post regarding commemorative stamp issues
The Cyprus Post informs the philatelic community that the commemorative stamp issues:“20 years Office of the Commissioner for Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation” and “Maritime Link between Cyprus – Greece” will not be available on 17.06.2022, as programmed.The above stamp issues will be available with the next commemorative issue on 11.07.2022. Total Employment: 53.668In May 2022 total government employment increased by 360 persons (0,7%) in comparison to the corresponding month of 2021 and reached 53.668 persons. Permanent staff decreased by 683 persons (-2,6%), from 26.686 to 26.003 persons. Casual staff increased by 1.056 persons (5,8%) and reached 19.251 persons compared to 18.195 persons in May 2021. Total Employment 72.456Total employment in the Broad Public Sector in the 1st quarter of 2022 reached 72.456 persons. Postal services to China are suspended
The Cyprus Post announces that postal services are suspended temporary until 22 June 2022 (included) to China for all services, except the Quickpost courier service, due to the measures that have been taken by a number of airlines. (MG/SCH)
