Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices : June 2023
The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) rose by 2,8% between June 2022 and June 2023, and by 0,3% in the month between May 2023 and June 2023. For the period January - June 2023 the HICP rose by 4,9% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Repatriation of three Cypriot antiquities from Italy
The Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture announces the repatriation of three Cypriot antiquities from Italy. The antiquities were returned to Cyprus on 18th of July 2023. The objects had been seized by the Italian authorities as part of penal proceedings. The Price Index of Construction Materials for June 2023 reached 135,28 units (base year 2015=100), recording a decrease of 0,17% compared to the previous month.Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index recorded an increase of 0,67%.
