Total Employment: 51.939 In February 2023 total government employment decreased by 1.763 persons (-3,3%) in comparison to the corresponding month of 2022 and reached 51.939 persons. This decrease is attributed to the transfer of Hourly Paid Workers from the Ministry of Health to the State Health Services Organisation, which is included in the Broad Public Sector, as from January 2023.
