Labour Cost Index: 3rd quarter 2024
Annual Change 4,0%Based on provisional data, in the 3rd quarter of 2024, the hourly labour costs (total cost) increased by 4,0%, compared with the same quarter of the previous year. Job Vacancy Rate 3,5%The number of job vacancies in the 3rd quarter of 2024 reached 16.010, recording an increase of 3.736 vacancies (30,4%) compared to the same quarter of the previous year where the number was 12.274. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2024 the number of job vacancies increased by 2.232 (16,2%). Survey Results on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Usage in Households and by Individuals 2024
Use of the Internet On the basis of the results of the ad hoc survey carried out by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, more than nine out of ten individuals use the internet at least once a week (94,4%). Internet use decreases with age: starting from 99,9% for the 16-24 age group, internet use drops to 83,3% for the 55-74 age group.
