Announcement by the Department of Antiquities on the repatriation of Cypriot antiquities from Stuttgart, Germany
The Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture announces that on 26th July 2024, thirty-seven (37) Cypriot antiquities were repatriated from Stuttgart, Germany. The antiquities had been removed from Cyprus between 1964 and 1968 by a German citizen, who, at the time, was working at the German Embassy in Cyprus.
