EMA recommends approval for use of Kineret in adults with COVID-19

COVID-19: EMA recommends authorisation of antibody medicine Xevudy
EMA’s human medicines committee (CHMP) has recommended authorising the monoclonal antibody Xevudy (sotrovimab) for the treatment of COVID-19. EMA’s human medicines committee (CHMP) has issued advice on the use of Paxlovid (PF-07321332 and ritonavir) for the treatment of COVID-19. The medicine, which is not yet authorised in the EU, can be used to treat adults with COVID-19 who do not require supplemental oxygen and who are at increased risk of progressing to severe disease. Operation of the Post Office of Akropolis
Cyprus Post announces that as from Monday, 20/12/2021 until further notice, only delivery of registered mail and small packets as well as delivery of mail through the Post Office Boxes will be carried out from the Post Office of Akropolis.The Cyprus Post asks the public to show the relevant understanding and urges it to temporarily visit and other Post Offices in Lefkosia to be served.(NG/SCH)
