Τhe Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, leaves on April 10, 2018, for Egypt where he will pay a working visit, as part of his tour of the region.

In Cairo, the Foreign Minister will hold talks with his counterpart, Foreign Minister, Mr Sameh Hassan Shoukry, to discuss, inter alia, issues relating to the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Egypt, the trilateral cooperation of Cyprus Egypt and Greece, Energy, the Cyprus problem, the EU - Egypt relations, the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and other relevant regional matters.

After their meeting the two Ministers will make remarks to the Press.

During his stay in Cairo Minister Christodoulides will also meet with the Prime Minister of Egypt, Mr Sherif Ismail.

The Foreign Minister will return to Cyprus on 11 April.
