Media representatives, who will be covering the official visit of the US Secretary of State, Mr Michael R. Pompeo, to Cyprus, on Tuesday 7 January 2020, and his meetings with the President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, at the Presidential Palace, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Lefkosia, are informed of the following:

For accreditation purposes, media representatives should apply for accreditation at the Press and Information Office, through online registration at the link  https://www.pio.gov.cy/usss-visit.html, until Thursday, 2 January 2020, 12.00 pm.

It is noted that access to the Presidential Palace and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be allowed ONLY to the media representatives holding an accreditation card. In any other case, access will be DENIED.

For accreditation purposes, Media representatives should state:

• Full Name (as indicated on their ID)
• ID or Passport number
• Press Card Number and date of expiry
• Media Organization / Name
• Nationality.
• Capacity.
• E-mail address.
• A recent colour photo (passport size) in jpeg form (.jpg 600 px minimum).

Accreditation cards should be collected on Friday 3^rd January 2020, between 12.30 pm – 3.30 pm, from the Newsroom Department of the Press and Information Office (5-7 Apelli Str, 1080 Lefkosia, 1^st floor).
