The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the monthly electronic publication “Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (by commodity and country)” for January - October 2019. It includes detailed quantity and value data on imports and exports of domestically produced goods and foreign goods, classified by the 6^th digit commodity code and by partner country.                                

The main developments in Cyprus foreign trade were:

(a) Total imports in January - October 2019 amounted to €6.866,3 mn as compared to €7.367,2 mn in January - October 2018. Total exports (covering total exports to third countries and to EU member-states) in January - October 2019 were €2.642,6 mn compared to €3.933,0 mn in January - October 2018. The trade deficit was €4.223,7 mn in January - October 2019 compared to €3.434,2 mn in the corresponding month of 2018.

(b) Total exports of domestically produced goods, excluding stores and provisions, in January - October 2019 were €1.108,3 mn compared to €1.389,2 mn in January - October 2018.  Total domestic exports of industrial products in January - October 2019 were €1.012,8 mn compared to €1.289,5 mn in January - October 2018.  Total domestic exports of agricultural products in January - October 2019 were €83,8 mn compared to €83,0 mn in January - October 2018.
