On April 28th, 2018, the award ceremony for the winners of the national phase of the European Statistics Competition took place at the University of Cyprus.

The prizes were awarded by the Director of the Statistical Service Mr. Stavros Karagiorgis, the Director of Secondary General Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Dr. Kyprianos Louis, the Economic Director of the Directorate of Budget of the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Stavros Michael and the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Finance and Administration, of the University of Cyprus, Professor Konstantinos Konstantinou.
