Presidential Elections 2018 – Repeat election: Polling stations closed at 12 noon
The Chief Returning Officer, Mr Kypros Kyprianou, announces that ballot boxes closed at all polling stations in the Republic at 12 noon and voting shall recommence at 1 p.m.
Voters’ attendance and the voting in general run smoothly and orderly.
According to the data given by the Presiding Officers until 12 noon the turnout of voters was approximately 32.6% of the registered voters, compared to 30.2% in the first round of the elections.
The voter turnout and the relevant percentages of the first round for each electoral district are:
