Following yesterday's decisions of the Council of Ministers vis-à-vis the implementation of contingency measures to halt the course of the pandemic, it is recalled that the measure of granting citizens over 60 years-old and people with disabilities priority access time in food retail establishments across Cyprus, from opening time until 9 am, is still in force.

More specifically, the aforementioned arrangement applies to the following establishments:

-       Supermarkets,

-       Fruit markets,

-       Mini markets,

-       Butcheries,

-       Fish markets,

-       Grocery shops,

-       Pharmacies.

It is noted that this measure does not apply to bakeries, kiosks and/or other establishments where customers can be served in a short period of time without crowding.
