The Vaccination Portal will be made available to citizens over the age of 83
As of tomorrow, 3 February 2021, at 9 am, the Vaccination Portal will be available to citizens over the age of 83, as part of the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19. Appointments will be available for those over 83 years of age, who have not already arranged an appointment or have not been vaccinated in the previous period. Appointments relate to the period from 8 to 15 February 2021.
Citizens falling into the prioritized age group for vaccination are advised to arrange an appointment on the first available day and hour, in order to ensure a continuous flow in the Vaccination Centres.
At the same time, it is pointed out that citizens arranging appointments either for themselves or for relatives and friends should ensure that they submit the correct identification data (name, ID number, date of birth), as well as the correct telephone number, to which the appointment confirmation for both the 1st and the 2nd dose of the vaccine will be sent.
Citizens who encounter problems or have questions when arranging an appointment, can contact the Call Centre at 1474 (free call).
Depending on the rate of appointment bookings for people over the age of 83, citizens will be informed by means of an announcement on the availability of appointments for the next age groups. Citizens are asked to follow the announcements made by the Ministry of Health in order to remain informed regarding the age group variations and arrange an appointment.
The vaccinations are being carried out in ten Vaccinations Centres by a total of 19 units in the whole of Cyprus. Vaccinations are also administered by five remote units, one in each district, providing for senior peoples’ homes, health infrastructures and mountainous/remote areas.
