9,264 Vaccination appointments made available for people over the age of 76

The Vaccination Portal will be accessible for the arrangement of COVID-19 vaccination appointments for people aged 76 or older, as of tomorrow 12 February, at 9 a.m. According to the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19, in the current period, the age group of 75-79 is prioritized.

It is noted that for the purpose of better planning, the Vaccination Portal will not be accessible after 7 p.m. tonight and it will be reactivated tomorrow at 9 a.m.

In total, 9,264 vaccination appointments will be made available at the Vaccination Centres in all districts. At the same time, as of tomorrow, through the Vaccination Portal citizens will be informed, when arranging their appointment, which vaccine will be administered in each Vaccination Centre.

To avoid discomfort and overcrowding at the Vaccination Centres, since as it was noticed, in some instances citizens arrive much earlier than their arranged appointment, citizens receiving their vaccine are asked to go to the Vaccination Centres at the time of their appointment and not earlier.

Citizens falling into the prioritized age group for vaccination are recommended to arrange an appointment on the first available day and hour, in order to ensure a continuous flow in the Vaccination Centres. It is reminded that depending on the available appointments for individuals over the age of 76, citizens will be informed by means of an announcement on the availability of vaccination appointments for the relevant age groups. Citizens are asked to follow the announcements made by the Ministry of Health in order to remain informed regarding the age group variations and arrange an appointment.
