The Ministry of Health announces a revised list of private Clinical Laboratories, which have verified the process of conducting the diagnostic methodology that detects the genetic material of the virus (RT-RCR), and to which citizens and/or companies can be privately examined. It is reminded that close contacts can be released earlier than 14 days, if they so wish, and specifically on the 7^th day, provided that they do not present symptoms and have a negative result from a molecular test (PCR test), which they undergo on the 7^th day, at their own expense, in one of the approved private clinical laboratories.

It should be noted that with the Quarantine Decree No. 6, dated January 8, 2021, a maximum price of €50 has been set for the conduction of molecular tests for COVID-19.

In particular, in addition to the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and the Microbiological Laboratories of the State Health Services Organization, the private Clinical Laboratories which have completed the diagnostic methodology verification procedure that detects the genetic material of the virus (RT-RCR), are the following:
