Continuing the vaccination shielding of the population, and in view of the Vaccination Portal’s opening tomorrow, the Ministry of Health informs that, as of28 May at 7:30 in the morning until Saturday, 29 May at 5:30 in the afternoon, individuals aged 36-39 will have priority for the arrangement of appointments. The vaccinations will be carried out at Vaccination Centres that operate island-wide with the available vaccines.

The vaccinations continue intensively in all Districts, and with the aim of covering 65% of the population with the 1^st dose by the end of June. As of 26 May, 560,664 vaccinations have been carried out– namely 64.01 vaccinations per 100 inhabitants– which ranks Cyprus in 3^rd place among the member states of the European Union. A total of 50.9% of the population has received the 1^st dose of the vaccine (376,676 individuals), and 24.9% has completed their vaccination regimen (183,988 individuals).
