Reassessment of the measure for the operation of theatres, amphitheatres, cinemas and other performance spaces from 13 July

In the context of the continuous reassessment of the measures taken in the last two sessions of the Council of Ministers to contain the spread of the virus, it was decided that as of Tuesday, July 13, and following an amendment Decree to be issued on 12 July, theatres, amphitheatres, cinemas and other performance spaces will operate in accordance with the conditions decided for football stadiums.

In particular:

• From July 13rd to July 20th, entrance to theatres, auditoriums, cinemas and performance spaces is allowed, only for people who have completed their vaccination scheme or have been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine and 3 weeks have elapsed, for people holding a negative PCR certificate valid for 72 hours and for people who have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 6 months, at a 50% space capacity.

• From July 21st, admission to theatres, amphitheatres, cinemas and other performance spaces is allowed as follows:

1. Only for people who have completed their vaccination scheme and for people who have been infected with COVID 19 in the last 6 months, at 75 % space capacity, or

2. Only for persons who have completed their vaccination scheme or have been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine and 3 weeks have elapsed, for individuals holding a negative PCR certificate valid for 72 hours and for people who have been infected by COVID-19 in the last 6 months, provided that the maximum number of people indoors does not exceed 250 people and outdoors 350 people. It is understood that all the provisions of the Health Protocol and the Guidelines shall apply.

• Persons aged 12 – 15, who cannot be vaccinated at this stage and do not have a COVID recovery certificate in the last 6 months, shall present a negative certificate from a PCR test or a rapid antigen test valid for 72 hours. In addition, persons aged 16 years or older, who cannot be vaccinated due to a serious medical problem, with the presentation of the medical certificate confirming why they cannot be vaccinated, shall be excluded and may provide a negative PCR or rapid test certificate valid for 72 hours. 

Finally, it is clarified that the health protocols and guidelines applicable to the specific areas remain in force and must be complied with.
