Change of operating hours of the vaccination centres against COVID-19 as of Monday 7 February 2022

The Ministry of Health informs that the opening hours of the vaccination centres against COVID-19 change as of Monday, 7 February 2022, as follows:

1) Walk-in vaccination centres in all districts will operate from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

2) Every Wednesday the walk-in vaccination centres in all districts, will operate from 8:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

3) Every Saturday the walk-in vaccination centres in all districts, will operate from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

It is reminded that citizens can receive the vaccine of their choice from walk-in vaccination centres or via an appointment arrangement from the Vaccination Portal.

In particular:

  • Every Monday the Moderna vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Tuesday the Pfizer vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Wednesday the Pfizer vaccine will be available from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and the Moderna vaccine will be available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Thursday the Pfizer vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Friday the J&J and Moderna vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Saturday the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • The AstraZeneca vaccine will only be available every Wednesday for the administration of the 2nd dose, at all the walk-in vaccination centres or via appointment arrangement.

4) Regarding the vaccines for children aged 5-11 years, as of 9 February 2022, every Wednesday vaccinations will also be carried out for children who are not registered in the GHS, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, after a telephone communication of the parent/guardian with the corresponding Vaccination Centre (Centre for the Protection of Maternity and Welfare of Children) in all districts.

Please note that the Vaccination Centre in Polis Chrysochous will provide this service every Friday and the Vaccination Centre in Kyperounta every Monday afternoon (the relevant table is attached). Please note that the Consent Form, the passport, the identity card, and the ARC are required.
