The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that as part of the information and public awareness campaign on Congenital Heart Defects, which is carried out by the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Heart Disease, throughout the week 7-14 February, will light up Pafos Castle in red from 7-12 February 2022.

The main goal of the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Heart Disease is to raise awareness and inform the public about Congenital Heart Defects, which are abnormalities of the heart that a person carries since birth.

In the framework of the social policy implemented by the Department of Antiquities, through the lighting of ancient monuments, it is with great pleasure that the Department participates in this action, and we hope that this will strengthen the efforts of the Association while sending a message of support to all vulnerable groups of people.
