The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, exercising his powers provided to him by the Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus, has decided to make the following appointments:

1. In the position of Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, in succession of the late Zeta Emilianidou, he appoints Mr Kyriakos I. Koushos, who is currently the Deputy Minister to the President.

2. In the position of Deputy Minister to the President, he appoints Mr Petros Demetriou, who is currently the Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.

Mr Pantelis Pantelides, who is currently head of the Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, assumes duties as Director of the Office of the President of the Republic. The above appointments will take effect as of Monday, 27 June 2022, when a swearing-in and an appointment of duties ceremony will be held at 9.00 a.m.
