Total Employment for the 2^nd quarter of 2022 is estimated at 458.706 persons, of which 408.922 are employees and 49.786 are self-employed.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2021, total employment increased by 1,9% for the 2nd quarter of 2022. The most significant percentage increases were observed in the economic activities of Accommodation and Food Services (NACE I), Information and communication (NACE J), Real estate activities (NACE L) and Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles (NACE G).

Actual hours worked for the 2nd quarter of 2022 are estimated at 207.154 thousand; an increase of 5,2% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2021. The most significant percentage increases were observed in the economic activities of Accommodation and Food Services (NACE I), Arts, Entertainment and Recreation (NACE R), Other Service Activities (NACE S), Real estate activities (NACE L) and Administrative and Support Service activities (NACE N).
