The Tax Department informs that, in the context of the modernization and upgrading of the services provided to taxpayers and for the purpose of better and faster communication with them, Form ΤΦ 1006 (Reminder for Failure to Submit a VAT Tax Return) will not be sent to taxpayers by post anymore.

As from 1^st September 2018, any taxpayer who omits to submit a VAT Tax Return by the due date, will be informed by an email.

The Tax Department takes this opportunity to also inform all taxpayers that, in the near future, the electronic communication with the taxpayers will be applied on a broader basis and therefore invites them to promptly notify the Tax Commissioner, through the Taxisnet Service, of any changes in their electronic data kept in the Department’s records.
