The President of the Republic will participate in the Trilateral Summit of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt, in Crete
The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, will participate in the 6th Trilateral Summit of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt, which will take place on Wednesday, the 10th of October 2018, in Crete.
The President of Egypt, Mr Abdel Fatah al Sisi, and the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr Alexis Tsipras, will also participate in the Summit.
The Summit will begin in the morning of October 10, with a bilateral private meeting between President Anastasiades and Prime Minister Tsipras.
Later on the President will hold a bilateral private meeting with the President of Egypt.
President Sisi and Prime Minister Tsipras will also hold a bilateral private meeting.
A trilateral private meeting of the three leaders will then take place followed by extended talks among the delegations of the three countries.
Agreements and memoranda of cooperation will then be signed and the three leaders will make remarks to the Media.
Later on the three leaders will attend a working lunch.
Among the issues to be addressed at the Summit are regional developments, the developments on the Cyprus problem, energy, telecommunications, and issues relating to the Diaspora of the three states.
President Anastasiades will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, the Minister of Energy, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Mr Yiorgos Lakkotrypis, the Government Spokesman, Mr Prodomos Prodromou and the Presidential Commissioner, Mr Photis Photiou.
