2024 Elections – Voting Hours
The Chief Returning Officer announces that, in accordance with the applicable electoral legislation, the voting on Sunday, 9 June 2024, will commence at 7:00 a.m. and will temporarily stop at 12:00 noon for a one-hour break.
The voting will recommence at 1 p.m. and will end at 6 p.m.
Moreover, it is noted that the voting hours for the polling stations abroad are as follows:

It is noted that the presiding officer of each polling station may extend the voting hours until midnight at the latest if a large number of voters are still waiting outside to cast their vote and provided that the Chief Returning Officer is informed.
The sorting and the counting of the votes will take place at the polling stations immediately after the completion of the voting. Exceptions include a small number of ballot boxes of occupied communities, which will be transferred to the single sorting centre operating at the Ministry of Finance.
