Presidential elections 2018 – Statement by the Chief Running Officer at 6 p.m.

The voting at all polling stations in Cyprus and abroad has ended and the second stage of the procedure, that is, the vote sorting and counting has begun.

As it is known, the vote counting will take place within the polling stations. The only exception will be the ballot box in the Central Prisons, which has already been transferred and merged with the one at the Nicosia Municipality.

In a while, the first results from smaller polling stations are expected.
