The leaders of the European Union are reflecting on the future of Europe and they want to consult with the EU citizens.

Ahead of a dedicated EU Summit in Sibiu in Romania on 9 May 2019, national leaders agreed on a Leaders' Agenda on pressing issues and challenges where solutions are needed.

The process began with the Bratislava Declaration and Roadmap in September 2016.  The White Paper presented by the European Commission on 1 March 2018, which sets out possible paths for the future of Europe, is also an important documents that feeds into the discussions. 

In this section you can find information as to how us, the Cypriot citizens can participate in this pan-European consultation by either contributing to the online consultation drafted by citizens themselves or by reacting to the White Paper on the Future of Europe.
