The Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance would like to inform the public about the circulation in todayʼs Official Gazette, of the Decision by the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance regarding the terms and conditions for the inclusion of businesses in the Special Scheme for the Full Suspension of Operations of a Business as well as the terms, conditions and calculation method for the provision of a Special Unemployment Allowance for Employees (Decision N. 4 of 2020, Regulatory Administrative Act 130/2020).

Attached to the aforementioned Decision, as Annex I, is the relevant application that employers (legal and/or natural persons) should submit online regarding the full suspension of operations and the employeesʼ declaration for the payment of the special unemployment allowance.

The application (EEA3) will be posted on the Labour Ministryʼs website (www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy) the soonest possible.

Those interested are called upon to read the facts included in the application so as to be well-prepared to submit it online.
