Extension of working hours of walk-in vaccination centres
As part of the Government’s efforts to increase the vaccination coverage of the population against COVID-19, and in particular, in order to better serve citizens, it has been decided to extend the operating hours of the walk in centres, in all districts.
Knowing that early mass vaccination of citizens against COVID-19 is one of the most powerful weapons to effectively tackle the pandemic and contain the coronavirus, the extension of opening hours offers to all citizens the opportunity to proceed to vaccination, thereby shielding themselves and those around them.
With a view to safeguard public health, the Government will monitor the epidemiological indicators as shaped by the rate of vaccination coverage and, if necessary, consider taking strict measures.
