In the framework of the annual military cooperation program between Cyprus and Israel, Exercise “IASON - 2022” was successfully executed, from 12 to 13 September 2022.

The Exercise took place within the FIR of Lefkosia, with the participation of land and air assets of the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus and the Israeli Defence Forces.

Throughout this joint activity, the personnel of the National Guard and the Israeli Air Force were trained, while the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the field of tactical air operations and Air defence was promoted.

The Exercise is part of the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Program and contributes to the increase of mutually beneficial operational capabilities, enhances the interoperability and demonstrates, in practice, the excellent cooperation between our respective Armed Forces.
