Mandatory preparation of an item label/customs declaration via the Shipping Tool/eCustoms application
Further to previous announcements, the Department of Postal Services informs the public of the following:
1. As of 1st January 2023, the use of the Shipping Tool/eCustoms application for the creation of an item label as well as a customs declaration (where applicable), is mandatory based on the service, destination and content, as described in the table below:

(1) Applicable ONLY for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
(2) Documents: personal correspondence, contracts and other printed items with no commercial value.
2. After this date, items for which the use of the Shipping Tool/eCustoms application is mandatory, will not be accepted if they have a label not created through the Shipping Tool/eCustoms application.
